Engage our students

Foster significant relationships with high achieving students – your prospective employees – at the start of their careers. We prepare our students for a long and successful career with a range of events and programs to expose students to the many aspects of business.

Student Consulting Teams

Add value to your business by hosting an undergraduate student team to work on a 10 week project in Melbourne, or a two-week intensive project internationally, that is of strategic importance to your organisation.

The recommendations were outstanding and the presentation content and style matched this. The best I have seen. I would have been thrilled if I had paid a consultancy for it and I told them in front of the Board!

VERNet needed a graduate analyst to help the company complete some financial and cost accounting analysis. The Careers Centre matched our needs with an eager and talented student and managed the placement very professionally.

I have learnt much about French business culture and the inner workings of a highly successful and dynamic Business Development team. I am working in Paris for the first six months and then in the Melbourne office. I feel as though I am part of a meaningful project that will be beneficial to Veolia Business Development Teams around the globe.

Case Competitions

Providing a ‘real life’ case for teams of competitive students to put to the test in one day, and judging their performance.

The Case Competition taught me lessons in how a well planned and executed project can be presented in a cohesive manner. I learnt the importance of working in a good team and how remarkable teamwork and hard work can deliver winning results.

Career Mentoring

An opportunity for industry professionals to engage with undergraduate and graduate students, and support their transition to the workplace, while honing their own coaching and communications skills at the same time.

It is a real honor to assist a student to further enhance their career development. Not only does the program enable a Mentor to develop cross-cultural skills with their Mentee, the program is a catalyst to meet other students from different cultural backgrounds.
