Australian Industrial Relations Commission
To commemorate 100 years of concilliation and arbitration, members of the Australian Industrial Relations Commission (AIRC) established a trust to fund an award for research students. The Australian Industrial Relations Commission (AIRC) was the former independent national tribunal dealing with employment issues. From 1 July 2009 Fair Work Australia assumed many of the functions of the AIRC.
